YaY3 for admins

Postby legogames » 02 Mar 2010 15:00

i have heard that the creators of YaY3 have their own special scripts far different from the members. just like for example flagging. the creators can easily flag a player easily so that his moves stops at zero time. and not that he still moves after zero time. like he still moves up to 20 moves for example after zero time. hmmmmm. is that fair enough?

-First: you need to watch where you make your posts, this section is titled: What do you think about the forum? Any Mistakes? Any Comments? Any Suggestions Pls. Keep the FORUM clean and organized by making your posts in the corresponding section and not wherever you please.

-Second: Of course we have a special version of YaY. After all we are the programmers and this comes with some benefits, dont you think? Now, if some one does not like the fact that we have a special version, they are more than welcome to write their own program. The source code of older YaY versions is out there somewhere. For example: We were using fasttime long before we made it public. Was this cheating? Of course not. If somebody is extremely good making books and makes a superbook, will he be cheating if he keeps the book just to himself? Of course not. Same thing here: We are good at making books, we are good at making computers, we are good at finding how to connect to Yahoo and we are good at programming in perl, so, yes, there are something our script has that the public version does not. If someone wants to have their own special script they need to learn to program as we did.

-Third: I aint going to discuss what our personal version has, but I assure you: WE DON'T CHEAT and most people here knows that.

- Fourth: I explained before twice how the "flagging" works in Yahoo and why quite often the flags are ignore d by the Yahoo server so a I not going to explain again since is very time consuming. Read the forum, look around and informed yourselve before you come again with false accusations. We (dene and I) are so obsessed with making the games more fair, to the point that we had worked very hard for five months (yes, 5 precious months of our wonderful life), to bring POGO to the public, because POGO offers lag compensation. YaYp (YaY for POGO) will be release soon to the public and will be free as is our tradition. And you come here and imply that we are cheaters? Darn, I am speachless, don't know what to say to you other than: Good luck in your "INSTIGATOR" career..

Do I have a bad temper? Yes, that I won't deny, but that does not makes me a cheater.

Laugh all you want, I hope it makes you happy.

XsupremeX, AUTORESIGN is an excellent idea, but, If we add an autoresign to a new version, everybody else will switch to STUCI or Reborn or stay with YaY's older VERSION because they won't auto resign. It is only a handful of us that want to be fair all the way, but I can foresee most people will take advantage of honest YaY users and switch to another ICS Emulator that won't auto-resign.

One possibility is to add auto resign and keep a list (similar to autoboot list) and turn off auto-resign when playing against opponents known for not auto-resigning. But this is a lot of work, and for what? To be called a cheater by guys like legogames? No thanks, I pass.

We are open to other suggestions, but there is not guarantee that YaY development will continue.

Cheers,

mate here you are wrong .
reborn was a program where flag where never went wrong '
it was only program where where on fly you could change table message (if you are log in you are allowed to change your message wherein we interacted with Dene and zappa , who said it is not possible)
Some times it hurts a fellow programmer challenging about yay flash or pogo but i have decided never to venture into this and what ever codes i have written for flash , pogo , flyordie will remain with me

I think you guys are a bit too slow. You are responding after almost a year.

Oh well, I have no intentions on responding to any of you, other than this reply of course.
