'Sounds more like a Winboard problem, specifically, if you're missing these files: cygncurses7.dll, cygwin1.dll, and cygreadline5.dll. Look back into your winboard file or folder (the path you extracted winboard to) and verify if these aformentioned files are present.
Aditionally, make sure these files and .EXEs are present in the winboard folder aswell: Timeseal.exe, Timestamp.exe, Winboard232d.exe, Winboard.GID, Winboard.exe, and zippy.line file.

All the files you mentioned are listed in the winboard folder. I am still getting the ordinal 3212 could not be located in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll . Do you have anymore suggestions? Thanks

The other possibility is that maybe your PC already has a pre-installed versions of the Libeay32.dll and SSLeay32.dll that causes conflict(as it's a DivX and not an XP file) or not compatible with Active State Perl. You can replace these 2 files with current or updated versions (be sure to back up the original libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll !)

If your PC is Wnidows XP, check this path and make sure the DLL file(s) are located: C:\WINDOWS\system32
Also, in some cases, the conflict in DLL could be you may have another DLL in another path: C:\Perl\bin

Solution 1:

If you have these 2 paths, just rename the DLL File in the C:\WINDOWS\system32 to any name of preference but be sure to backup these files first just as a precaution.

Solution 2:
You can install Crypt-SSLeay (look in the STUCI Section) and / or search for a compatible DLL to download. Let us know if you have any success with these

Try here for your dll files: http://www.liutilities.com/products...brary/libeay32/

I have tried everything and I get the same error message. I am running windows XP 32bit. Do you have any other suggestions. Is Yay_ultimate.exe designed for a 64 bit???

All ICS Emulators (YaY, STUCI, YtoICS.EXEs) are compatible in both 32 and 64 bits OS. The problem is clearly from your Windows XP PC's DLL version(2) and/or the Path(s) it is in.

I use to have a Windows XP 32bit OS (I now have Windows Vista 64 OS)and did not have the problem you're encountering. I will look into it to see what could be the problem besides the 2 solutions suggested before.

I have found the issue, the Fix was to install Win32 OpenSSL v0.9.8i Light and Visual C++ 2008 Redistributables. Everything is working fine. Thanks for all your help.

I have a question. What exactly was fixed? I never seen YaY creating this type of error. The YaY executable file has everything it needs built in it.

So, was it Winboard or Fritz or YaY( I doubt it) that needed those files/programs?

Thanks.

Glad to hear you found the solution to the DLL and SSLeay problems. Some Windows XP 32-bit OS owners do experience these "Ordinal not found....." error message - a problem associated with the pre-installed versions of DLL and SSLeay files which causes conflicts with most newly formated executable files, cygwins etc.

Anyway, you solved the problem by installing a newer dll and ssleay versions - essentially fixing the problem....so bravo to you. :ok

Thanks I would love to share this information, maybe you can make a tech note on this solution. I just downloaded install Win32 OpenSSL v0.9.8i Light and Visual C++ 2008 Redistributables this solved the problem. Thanks for your time. I noticed it didn't have anything to do with any of the YaY programs or winboard. I downloaded other auto programs and I was getting the same error messages.

Thanks for clarifying that there was not a problem with with YaY, because if it was or if there is one or more in the future, we are here to help solve the problem.
