Hi friend!
I'm not very good in english; can i write to you in french please so that i could give you all details of what i did so far about the installation of YAY!
Nevertheless , my problem is this: when i exit from the MSDOS whith the connection established , i double click on yay ; a window pop up and i write down my id, my passeword, the room etc ! the window that display the test word don't appear at all althought i launch the browser explorer!
I am not sure i exposed the problem suffficiently clear or not!

I do not know if any of the other moderators or any of the mebers speak french, so I will try to help you in english.

The current version of YaY uses Microsoft Internet Explorer to display the CPATCHA image. So, the first question is: do you have Internet Explorer installed?

If there is an error before and while trying to retrieve the CAPTCHA imagine, YaY execution will halt, the second question is: Are you getting any errors in the command prompt?

While launching YaY by double clicking the file ( or a shurtcut to the file) is possible, is not recommended because the error dies with the command prompt window when this one closes automatically. Please read this topic: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=111&p=397#p397

Are you using windows Vista?

If so please read this topic.. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=115

You could try different ID's aswell before looking for a problem, as I have certain ID's that always fail to show the test word with YtoICS/YaY.

Yep , its a common problem ,please turn off your firewall and antivirus and try again...... it will work,,esp if you are using kaspersky anti virus ,it blocks explorer.
