Hi,

Well, even if you are not planning on using an engine, in order to use xboard in Yahoo you need a middle man between Yahoo and xBoard, I'll suggest you use STUCI Classic (which can be found here in this FORUM).

Now, how to do it exactly? I do not know since I do not use linux. But I'll bet you'll figure it out.

I also suggest you make another post under the STUCI section.

Cheers,
Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,
- It gives us (the true chess engine players) a bad reputation.
