These are the default servers you can connect. Some you will need to create an account or play as guest. Or use YaY to Yahoo and YaYp to Pogo, no more servers than these.

What servers do you have in mind?

WinBoard only connects to ICS servers, or ICS servers emulators like YaY/YaYp/STUCI etc. that make it possible to connect to Yahoo and POGO, other than that you are out of luck....please explain what serve(s) you are referring to.

I can tell you which program you can use to CHEAT there against human players=======> The one you program yourself, because at this moment there is no way to use a known free or commercial program to work there. Si comprende verdad?

That server it is probably a java server, they let you download (inadvertently) a java client, there is a communication protocol between the server and the client that (at this moment) nobody knows, it can be easy, it can be encrypted, it can be super encrypted, we do not know. Winboard only connects to ICS servers like I said before or ICS emulators taht work in Yahoo and POGO, these emulators had been made by people that spent chingos of time deciphering Yahoo's and POGO's protocols and even more time consuming: The room and table opcodes.

Is it possible to use WinBoard or some other way to auto-play there? Yes....Does exist at this moment? No.....Can we make it? Yes....Will be make it? No.....Why? Because we do not care about that place....can you make it?Yes....How? Study programming, packet sniffing and be ready to spend a year or more of your life......or send 50,000 dollars to my paypal account and I made the program for you. Will it work for ever? No...more than likely they will change something to disable the auto-program that cost you 50,000 bucks.

They point is that in this forum we never heard before about that place...and we do not care what goes in there and we are not interested on it since probably at any giving time there are no more than 10 guys playing there.....so why waste our efforts!!!!!

That is Internet Chess Server that follow the standard ICS telnet protocol, e.g. InternetChessClub or FreeChess.org. Not websites! The scripts here work by pretending to be such a server for yahoo and pogo, and are the only ones that exist.

Thank you Darklord42, that's what we've been trying to explain. The other possibility that does no (necessarily) requires WinBoard is a screen scrapper like:Admax, Chessbuddy and some non public, but they will also need to be "tuned" for a particular site.
