hi matematiko!
here what i 've done so far:

1. in the first place i opened yay_ultimate by double clicking on its shortcut on the desktop and gave me a black window where i filled my user name, passeword, room i wanted to go to! after a moment the test word window is opend and i filled the test word i saw.

2. connected my deep fritz11 and a small window appears saying me to wait for connection

3. just after i was confirmed that the connection is done and accepted from127.0.01. (this message appears in my dos prompter window)
4. then i double clicked on the winbord shortcut on the desktop and gave me a small chessboard and the ics window BUT a small window appears in the same time and say to me that " neither host nor codebase applet parameters found"

Hmmmm... hard to say what exactly the problem is. But it looks to me that the java applet file is been written down in a diferent place that where you running YaY from.

Do this, launch YaY from the folder you copy the files to and not from the shortcut you copied to the desktop. All the YaY files should be in C:\YaY
