Is not a mater of what are the best, but which tablebases are supported by the GUI/engine you use.
Most common ones are Nalimov.

You need to download all the 3-4-5 man table bases for a total of about 5 GB..I dont remember.
The 6 man table bases are another story, the full set is more than 1 tera byte. WHat most people do they download only the ones that statiscaly speaking are the most common ones. I lost the link that shows the statistics, but you can use Google.
