Yahoo stock was at $120.00 in 2000 now in 2012 is $15.00 dollars. That is 1/8 of what it used to be. You can be sure that that also applies to the number of employees. I bet there is only one poor guy switching servers here and then but people to apply patches and stuff are contracted out only when becomes critical and when there is enough budget (if ever). Yahoo will never die, it is part of human history now, but the only way for them to become (again) what they used to be is to agree to be bought by Microsoft or Google etc. Meanwhile...... you know.

Gets worse: Some of the Yahoo room-booters comprise of some members from right here in Autochess forum. So far, I know of 3 Autochess members that are involved in booting Yahoo-rooms.

On an important subject, now that you mentioned it, I vaguely remember something about Yahoo's predicament and possibility of being bought-out by another company. I anticipated a better outcome if Yahoo were bought out. I guess that never occurred, seeing the low stock market figures you produced relative to Yahoo's value. It sure explains the unsatisfactory response/action from Yahoo when these room booter-hoodlums/scoundrels/miscreants were reported to them, early 2011 or late 2010. Sad.

I could name them. I doubt denuding and traducing them will deter these delinquent kids from booting the room. In fact, one of them confessed, long time ago in POGO (2010 or 2011), in one of the captured ICS conversations, that he felt elated (<--my choice-word) when he boots Yahoo room. To quote his exact words, when confessing to one of his co-yahoo-room-booter, he said this:

"1 day I use the boot prog in Yahoo and the sensation is nice lol"

Only a sick, depraved mind would derive pleasure from such criminal/illegal activities. Not to mention, childishness. I actually laugh in derision at certain individuals' posts apropos the [elusive] Yahoo room booter.

Hint: The other 2 individuals are not going to be a problem for you, matematiko and me, and probably all other mods. But ONE in particular may disturb you & matematiko, AND probably all unsuspecting regular players. If you know what I mean. Hence why I may name the other 2, excluding THAT one person, and leave it at that.

Prima I remember this phrase! You as usual was a constant observer in our tables in Pogo and yes I knew you were there.

Please observe "1 day" maybe were 2 or 3 days and yes was a nice sensation I cant deny.

I felt like a nasty child, who never felt like that one day?!

But no more booter here by my part. Since it is useless tool and the nasty child left me.

I am more interested in:

making books
collecting games
participating in tourneys
playing games (less chess and more X-box)

and so on...

PS Booter stopped working in some day in 2011 but someone fixed it in January 2012. In past just 1 used the booter but after some google research and a friend's guidance I just found it is damn free in a (not) mentioned site. I can say more than 10 have it.
