Hi Members. Here a short explanation how add Rybka3 in SCID and make it analyze your games to find better lines.

1- You need add Rybka 3 in SCID.

2- If in Engine List doesnt appear Rybka, click in "New" and add it.

3- In "Name" use Rybka 3 and in "Command" indicate path to your engine.

4- Now Open a PGN file you wanna analyze.

5- Return to the 1st picture but this time instead of "New", choose Rybka and click "OK". Now just make game run and Rybka will analyzes each move and give you score for them like show the red circle. If you lost in the game, find the bad score and wait for rybka give you a better line for this position. Once you find it go to your BIN book to tune it but this is another story. :D

Thanks bud, short but very imformative tutorial.....perhaps you can make one to show how to load bin books for edition?

Thanks,
Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,
- It gives us (the true chess engine players) a bad reputation.
