Thank you very much! :D :D :D I can't test Rybka 4 yet since I don't have Windows.
I use Linux but with microwine-0.9 it is possible to execute Rybka 4 UCI under Linux.
But I don't know yet if the ones I downloaded are UCI do you know?

All versions of rybka are UCI. You should have no problems runing them under linux. Use Wine for 32bit versions and microwine-0.9 for 64bit versions, assuming of course your computer and linux OS are 64 bits.

Note: Deep Rybka 4 SSE42 x86 and Deep Rybka 4 SSE42 x64, are only for CPUs that can handle SSE42 instructions like the i7 and the Phenom, I am not sure about i5.

Cheers,

Oh how great!
Yes I have 64-bit Ubuntu on a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 so I shall use the Deep Rybka 4 UCI x64 with microwine-0.9.
But I don't have a GUI with board and pieces on Linux. I have Shredder 11 on a MacBook Pro and I'm looking for a solution to have a UCI engine like Rybka 4 running on a remote machine (like a Linux or Windows box) and use a GUI like Shredder on a local machine (like a PowerBook, or iPhone, etc.), and connect them transparently over TCP/IP (and it shall use SSL because sometimes moves and analysis must not be possible to eavesdrop, not for me but for super GM's, etc.) I want this to be as simple as possible (for everybody). It must be as simple as starting the GUI. I think that tunneling over SSH is to ask too much. It must be simpler than that. But what is the best solution known today?
By the way, I tried Rybka 4 x64 glued with microwine-0.9.darwin on Mac OS X (according to the instructions in microwine readme) and tried to get Shredder 11 on Mac to install the Rybka 4 UCI engine but it replied "This is not a UCI engine." What a pitty if Shredder 11 Mac can not communicate with Rybka 4 because then it won't work remotely either.

I have no idea, I did not even know there was such thing as i3. Your best bet is to look for the i3 specs.

Matematiko, thats the link to the i3 330M specs. Since it says "Instruction Sets: SSE4.1, SSE4.2" that means it supports it right?
