Re-observe table after boot

Postby matematiko » 09 Apr 2008 13:21

Its been a while that I notice some users have the ability to rejoin the table they were booted from, does anybody has an idea how are they doing this? Is it a modified YtoICS or a modified YaY? Is it something chessbuddy or chessy can do?

Please somebody tell me before I go crazy. :crasha :crasha

Cheers,

I also faced the same problem...that guy logged so many botz to my table and started spamming...when I tried to boot the bots...it says botz doesnt exist bt they were on my table....then I tried to boot one by one of them ultimately I booted the master bot...and I got rid of them.....so I think its not a cheat of Yay but a bit of new prog like YGO where some one can not boot the people by headflood but certainly annoy the people on that table!
This is what I guess....
Any commentz..

With the new version of YaY, Ultimate Edition(to be released soon), you will be able to add IDs to a black list and autoboot this users as soon as they join your table. But this is not what I am talking about. Traditionaly, once a USER has been booted from a table, the only way they can rejoin the table is if the get an invitation from the table's host. But this morning, I booted the same ID 7 times for not standing up and he kept comming back without me inviting him, and this is what I want to know how is being done.

Thanks for the comment, cheers,

Abusers can issue a "play now" command to the server. It joins a table regardless if you're booted or not.

Also, interestingly, if you're booted from a table using a non-standard client, you can ignore that boot request. Although, the server will boot you after a few seconds if you don't respect that request.

Standard clients will respect the boot command and leave the table on their own.
