Well...to be sincere I am not 100% sure....few years ago it took a couple of days to finish...so I am guessing is the 3-4-5 database, using today's computer it should take only few hours.

I will leave my computer running this program tonite and hopefuly give you an answer tomorrow.

Cheers,
Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,

3-4-5 piece NALIMOV Endgame Tablebases (290 files). It is fully compatible with Chess Assistant 6 or 7, Comprehensive Chess Endings, Fritz 7/8, Tiger 14/15, Shredder 7, Junior and many other engines. What about Fritz 11? Does it work and can I use it with polygot? :smile20

thanks maternatiko
I think i downloaded from ur page those 3-4-5
what u think will be the most usefull 6-men EGTB,because in order to download all 6-men will need more than 1 Terabite which is out of my capacity

I think these are good to have them,because the continue use in the end game,Can u review them and post what i have missed?

i usually i located in this directory C:EGTB for further reference and easy attach them to any GUI
take a look in my polyglot

[Engine]
Hash = 128
NalimovPath = c:\EGTB
NalimovCache = 32

The EGBB codes were wrote by Ryan Benitez (USA). Actually, what I could learn was they are the same, the difference is the size of them:

"...The size of the 6-man EGTB makes them pretty impractical (even though terabyte drives are only about $300). I guess the entire set of 6-man EGBB will only be 50 to 100 GB..."

"...I was thinking that the EGBB used with Toga are about 340MB for the 5-man files compared to 7.5GB for the EGTB files..."

These are not my phrases, they are from players I found in the Internet! and as you can see not all programs run EGBB :wink:

You can download all 3-4-5 man here and all around 340MB :lol:

Hi elcriolito :ok

"...It is also possible to use egbbs - but I saw the engine becomes very slow in endgame positions with egbb. I do not set the correct path to my egbbs - that helps..."

"...PS: setting the correct path did not work inside Chessbase GUI - the egbbs must be in the folder under the engine \egbb\ ..."

I hope it helps you a little bit :)

And if anybody has another link to download this 3-4-5 men in EGBB please I will be grateful because the other link I posted, the download here doesn't complete! :roll:
