This is an excellent tool... I recomend everyone with TBs to download this utility and check the integrity (MD5 Checksum) of all their table bases. Incomplete and or corrupted Table Bases are the cause of many problems: Like freezing the engine.

Cheers,
Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,
- It gives us (the true chess engine players) a bad reputation.

DOS Command line MD5sum utility
Many people have asked for the md5summer to accept command line parameters, I'm working on it but in the meantime this win32 port of the GNU md5sum application should do the trick:

I remember that it was possible with a small program to "create / calculate" the Nalimov 5 pieces endgames.... Do you know if it is possible with the 6 pieces endgames ?

Put all men in 1 folder and indicate path to this folder in your Fritz or in your polyglot.ini.

Fritz >>> Option >>> Tablebases GUI >>> Path 1 (if you have more than 1 folder then go to Path 2 too)

Polyglot >>> open polyglot.ini >>> edit this line:

NalimovPath=C:\ (put here path to folder you have 3-4-5-6 men)

About the Manager, sorry I dont have !
