That is done when using Polyglot and making some additions to the polyglot.ini file

Take a look here:

http://wbec-ridderkerk.nl/html/download.htm

You will need to do your homework and read that page....the instructions are there !!!!!

Hints: take a look at "KibitzMove", "KibitzPV", "KibitzCommand", "KibitzDelay" and the kibitzcommand for YaY is kib not tellall.

Good luck,

P.S. Sure, I can use the playchess !**** :lol:

In case you have not used polyglot yet, YaY Ultimate distribution has a tutorial for polyglot, I think the tutorial failed to mentioned that besides polyglot.exe you also need to put cygwin1.dll file in the Winboard folder.

Also, I have winboard installed twice. One in the default folder and the other one in a different folder(I actually use Winboard_x in the second folder). Why do I do this? Everytime you make changes to winboard, the file winboard.ini gets modified and I prefer to keep two instances of Winboard.... one for Fritz and one for Polyglot.

Cheers,

well looks like adding the commands would not do the job i added the commands to the polylot.ini and it took no effect
ShowPonder = true
KibitzMove = true
KibitzPV = true
KibitzCommand = tellall
KibitzDelay = 5

I explained in an earlier post that the KibitzCommand for YaY is "kib" (without the quotes) and not "tellall".
