Can any one help me get the commands for the following action
1-leave the table with out exit the program
2-start a game in another table
3-stop receiving invitation at all
4-stop receiving news from the room

I need instruction of How to change from my chess engine to another chess engine

1-leave the table with out exit the program: unobserve x where x is the table you are observing

2-start a game in another table: Be in two tables at the same time? That is a bad idea.

3-stop receiving invitation at all: set open

4-stop receiving news from the room: No sure what you mean by "news", try: set shout

I think YtoICS, STUCI and YaY are release with a commands file. PLease read it.

which one is the best Ytoics,Stuci or YaY, i have YaY but i have heard people who said i have the other one, and work good ,i think ,if this YaY work good for me that's it.Right?
i don't need to go for others,right?

If YaY works good for you then continue using that :ok

...although it wouldnt be hard to set up Stuci along side it aswell so you have the choice of using either, if you wanna try that too.

This is my personal answer to the question: None is better. What makes your set up better than others is not YtoICS, STUCI or YaY, is your engine, your computer, your book, your engine settings, winboard and polyglot or winboard232d, chessbase, arena or whatever GUI you are using, your internet provider(read connection speed),and of course: yourself.

YtoICS, STUCI or YaY are just scripts with two purposes:
- First, to be the middle man between your set up and Yahoo. In this regard, these scripts have not effect at all in your set up efficiency.
- Second, to make your experience easier with yahoo chess rooms and the opponents you interact with, having features as autoboot based in rating, the credit system, ignore shouts, black list, style 1, auto-welcome messages, etc. In this regard the best script is the one that "best" fits your preferences. Do not think for a moment that a particular script is going to make your set up win more games.

Now, that being said, let me clarify few things: YtoICS at this moment uses getapplet.pl to connect to Yahoo. The current getapplet.pl does not provide support for the new Yahoo's CAPTCHA system, rendering YtoICS unsuable to some extent at this point. I said "to some extent" because in reality YaY and STUCI are forks of YtoICS with a modified getapplet.pl implemented in the whole script. That leaves YtoICS out of the picture for now.

So, I am going to rephrase your question: Which script, STUCI or YaY will make my live easier when intereacting with Yahoo's chess rooms? And the answer is above: None is better, it all depends in your preferences.

I personally use a custom modified version, that has everything I 'want/need', or 'dont want/need',... 'added/or removed' most of the time (although I have the standard YaY and Stuci releases set up here for use sometimes aswell).

Both YaY and Stuci are exellent work, and deserve there own recognition.
YaY - (the original release) for being the first publically released fork of YtoICS to get round the CAPTCHA problem implemented by yahoo. Without this, most the old YtoICS/Yics users would be playing manually now.
Stuci - For fixing various bugs and exploits in the YtoICS code, and for adding lots of extra features (some of which you may like, some you might not, depending on what you personally want in your YtoICS).

I hope the new version of YaY does get finished/released, as it would be a great contribution, and I'm sure the public users will like it a lot

I am almost a kid on this ,i just started on november to get me more into this stuff, right now i think i fit into the YaY,and for that reason is like i can call "fall in love in the first sight"

How do you make the proggy say this when someone joins a table

Welcome {~~id~~), only programs in this table. I am only playing against people with no less than 2236 points(Auto-boot enforced).
