I have a link to torrent for fully working Megabase 9. I tried to PM you both but the message is stuck in my outbox and I don't think it has been sent ??

I got it too, thanks very much. But I'm still technically new to this whole stuff, so how do torrents work? I extracted the file and now I can't open it as a database. DO you have to download a certain program to use them or what . . . .

Guys,

First you need to download a torrent client and install it. I always use "utorrent" - it is free and quick and simple to install and works well. You only need to do this once:

http://utorrent.com/downloads

Then use the link I gave you earlier to download the torrent for Megabase 2009. Uncompress it with winrar and you then get a little green square. Double click on it and it should open utorrent and start to download. You may have to tell it to use utorrent if prompted.

There are a lot of tips and advice on the web about tweaking the utorrent settings for faster downloading - just Google on "best utorrent settings" or something similar. Now that you have utorrent, you can download LOADS of stuff from torrent sites like (Links illegal not allowed here!!!) and (Links illegal not allowed here!!!). quick tip - the more seeders a torrent has the faster the download (seeders are the people who have the software you are downloading and who have chosen to share it).
