Please vote on which you prefer not to be able to be turned off by the user in YaY Ultimate ..

1) The lobby shout 'Using YaY 2.1.1 Ultimate Edition'

2) The Table Welcome Message

We (the YaY Ultimate team) prefer the lobby shout, so we can see who else is using YaY, so we can pick players to play against without having to check each table one by one. Let us know what you prefer, we are interested in your feedback.

Hi dene, 8)

I voted in >>> Shout: Using YaY 2.1.1 Ultimate Edition.

But I really prefer that it continues the two auto-messages!!!

Every one knows that player with more than 2100 rating use program one or the other way. So no way you can hide.

Instead of flooding in lobby its better to flood our own table. Tell honestly that we are using program when they come to our table. It should be left to the user where they want to flood, unless creator of these programs wants to know who is using their program.

Actually I disagree a little with your points... although you are entitled your your own oppinion.. this is what the poll is for :ok

Here's why I disagree..

Firstly, there are a few players around 2100-2200 who dont use programs in advanced lounge (I know a couple personally), although I agree 'most' over 2100 are using programs. I still prefer to play other autochess players only.

Second, I think its a bit strong to say that by typing a command like this: /YaY into the lobby to make a program shout this Using YaY 2.1.1 Ultimate Edition just one time is flooding, as it certainly isnt. To me flooding the lobby would be if each program continually shouted messages in the lobby every minute or so by default (without the need to enter a command), or when it did shout it covered about 4 lines of text in the lobby.

I must of missed this post...

For your information my personal copy of YaY shouts in the lobby, so please get your facts right before making posts.

Also No one forces anything on anyone, if you dont like the lobby shout then use something else!

After a deep thinking about these shouts and after seeing what happens in the rooms lobby, i won't vote for both lobby shout nor for the welcome message!why! because the one program that shouts in the lobbyes is YaY 2.1.1 ultimate; all others programs keep silent, as stuci, ytoics, buddy, gambitron, ychessmaster etc....; the only one that shouts is yay 2.1.1 ultimate ,and this, is unfair at all! So i beg matematiko to tell all people interested, when one wants to, how to remove this shout from the lobby!
Sorry for all i might have choked by this message! cheers.
