Houdini

Houdini

Postby Rigs83 » 07 Mar 2011 15:46

Hi everybody, i have tried some new engines with chessbuddy and they seem to go really slow, about 10 seconds before it shows the best move. And I tried Houdini and it seems to not work, like it has the positions of the pieces wrong or something.

Does anyone else have this problem, and know how to fix it, like changing the parameters of the engine to use less depth or something?

I want to play chess and be able to move the pieces myself, i'm not sure if you can move the pieces yourself with YaY, but i use chessbuddy because it is easier and more convenient to learn your mistakes since the program shows the score at the bottom of its interface.

Any help is appreciated!

The only engine stable in chessbuddy is Rybka (any version). Any other engine you will face problem.
