Houdini Donation

Postby matematiko » 11 Apr 2011 02:37

It was only 5 Euro but this is my little (at least for now... I will do the same later...at least every year) way of thanking the Author of Houdini.

If we all do something similar (or better), the Author will feel motivated to spend more time working on Houdini....make no mistake, Rybka is expensive and I bet there is a team of experts working on it to overcome Houdini. Let's give the author a little motivation to make it better and keep it free.

Regards,
Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,
- It gives us (the true chess engine players) a bad reputation.
