i,m running window,s vista 32 bit and i get all the way to ms-dos i get perl in but when i put ppm in i get an error message saying ppm is not recognized as an internal or external command operable program or batch file. that keep,s coming up. what do i do now? or am i doing somthing wrong? please help me someone?

If you have perl installed then:

6º step - Open the prompt MS-DOS and type cd c:\perl after that it must look like this (c:\Perl>), type ppm, it will install a packet right?

7º step - Not over yet. Now type cd:\perl\bin, it must look like this (c:\perl\bin>) and type ppm install tk

Do you have ActivePerl install?

Assuming the answer is yes, did you navigate to the directory where perl is installed?

Or wait between few weeks and a month for the newest YaY Ultima Edition, its going to be realease in exe and does not need ActivePerl or its modules at all.....All is included in the exe

ppm neds to be run from a dos command prompt and you should navigate to (if I remember correctly) to C:\Perl\Bin then execut the ppm command.

And alternate way of doing this, from the default directory you get when you open the dos command prompt window(C:\ Documents and Settings\yourwindowsid\ ) type this:

c:\perl\bin\ppm and whatever the rest of the command is

WAIT WAIT WAIT..................what are you trying to install? YaY does not need any stinking module to work. YaY does not need SSLeavy(Only STUCI does), YaY does needs the TK modules but TK comes pre-installed with ActivePerl 5.8 32 bits MSI package.

Uninstall whatever ActivePerl version you have and install ActivePerl 5.8 32 bits MSI package which can be found here: http://download.yousendit.com/20CAB64A507C53C1 (courtesy of dene).

You guys are making things more complicated than what they are, if you just hold your eagerness and take the time to read slowly and understanding before jumping into conclusions and installing crap you don't need your life will be so easier.

ok here it's exactly what im doing :

1. i open the yay .1 botin and loggin onto yahoo by the instruccion's allready gave. (says) waiting for connection on port 6000.

2. i go to fritz uci and launch the auto player by the instruccion's . (says) waiting for connection . "232" auto player.

3. i double click on winboard + engine all in one on logg me inn into yahoo as lows . say's (wepa)


4. now what ? i go to the scrip launch on the desktop by the botin which its a page that log'ss me inn into yahoo server i guess and says (error login in into server )


- i can open a table,watch others game , set up time ,sit, but i am unable to play or watch ,even login into yahho .

- i have install pearl package (msi) all ready so, why should i go now ?
thang's a lot for answer me my reply previously i hope that u can help to figure out what im missing or if 1 of the step its wrong or i missing something else .
