I got another link from where You can legally get free ebooks in pdf format

Bookyards has completed its section on chess, thereby making available a small collection of ebooks that specialize on all facets of the game. This chess section includes ebooks on chess problems, lists of games and analysis, as well as general introductory books on chess.
