Any1 who could shed light on how to log-in to chess yahoo using a different yahoo profile. it seem that when you type Username, YaY defaulted to the primary yahoo ID. Any assistance on this problem is much appreciated. Thx

YaY used to be able to log in profiles. Unfortunally it was causing more problems than benefits because almost nobody use profiles. I am considering releasing a new version. Nothing fancy, just few fixes and perhaps some add-ons. Stay tuned.

I take this opportunity to ask YaY users what other things need to be fixed.

Hi mate. How r you? Well, about ur post I just have to say YaY has no much to be fixed, till now I didnt find any bug so far...But about some add-ons Sure I would like to suggest something! hehehe Can be possible add a new command? Im telling about the command 'clear' to erase all messages that were sent to ICS interaction window sometimes... You know after some times that window becomes full of messages cuz we type 'who' 'game' often and also would like to hear shouts, thats y that window becomes full of messages. It will be good if through command 'clear' we could erase all making that window a new one! THX I dont know if it is an useful idea at all to work with just something I request!

The idea is indeed good. I am not sure if it can be implemenmted. See, the ICS Interaction windows is provided by Winboard and not by YaY. YaY is just like a man working behind the scenes, listening for and issuing commands in addition to sending a command to "print" messages in the Winboard's ICS Interaction window. But let me dig around, who knows, maybe there is a way(like clearing the buffer or something like that).

Have you try to see if you can do that from the Winboard menu?

Yes, I will like to be able to use the "other profiles" with YaY. I noticed I could no longer use alternative profiles only with YaY version 2.1.2.
In addtion, I noticed when I checked my saved games.pgn, the usual checkmate is not written from the scripts. I have to manually add the 1-0 (for the winner and loser), and checkmate in the pgn file.
Also I humbly request for the blacklist option to be removed( and posibly fromSTUCI and YtoICS as well) - I stated the reasons in the "What do you think of the Forum" section. Please spare some moment of your time to read the post I made concerning what's happening to Yahoo.
