hi fx! i hope you are fine!
could you help me please to find how to insert scores of moves in a pgn when using chessbase (fritz 11). with polyglot no problem: moves are always followed by scores like +0.08,
+1.09, -2.80 etc...how to bring then these scores in pgn file with chessbase. i hope i've been clear. :smile20
thanks a lot in advance. have a nice day.

I assume you are using an ICS emulator like YaY with WinBoard, and winboard232d.exe adaptor to talk to chessbase, and saving the games in PGN with the WinBoard option.

I do not know the answer to your question, but I am inclined to think that it will be impossible to do. The Auto232 protocol its full of bugs, flaws and deficiencies. A good example of its deficiencies is its inability to parse to chessbase the remaining time for each side (clocks) and perhaps parsing to WinBoard engine evaluation parameters (like score) is another one of them.

You will be better off trying to resolve the issue from chessbase side. See if you can include the score in the saved games, then convert the database to PGN format.

Regards,
Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,
- It gives us (the true chess engine players) a bad reputation.
