I release a version of my autochess, it is a small program to use in chesscube or many other chess server...

Just try it and tell me how it works for you !!! Tell me if you encounter problems...

TO DO FIRST:Change Chesscube Settings:
File > Edit Settings > Chess Board

-Legal moves : Dont highlight
-Opponents last move : Highlight and change the highlight color to FF0000 (red)
-Board coordinates : On
-Move animation : Off


Then MAXIMIZE the chesscube window if you wish to play, always... and i hope your screen resolution is at least 1024x768 and 32bits... the autochess window is always on top/visible so you can maximize chesscube window and see at the same time autochess program.


Then: Open Chesscube.exe

Wait for "BOOT OK" then press "START" button

Wait for the chess board in chesscube to be loaded.

If you are white, press "W" key and if you are black, press "B" key.

Then autochess starts and plays for you !!

Note : At any time you can stop the program / start a new game with "ESCAPE" key.

Important: dont move the mouse and dont open other windows when autochess plays...

Note: you can open and change many parameters in the ini files:

in the engine.ini:

name=rybka < name of the folder to chose for the engine, the name of the engine must be engine.exe
hash=64 < hash size
cache=32 < cache size
ponder=1 < ponder on
random=0 < book random of

in the server.ini:

name=chesscube < name of the server.... i have several other servers : playok, chess.com, chesspark...
delay=2000 < dont change this in chesscube !!!!
timer=20 < time for your game in seconds
clic=0 < dont change this in chesscube !!!!

in the window.ini: dont change.


the book.bin is any polyglot opening book

in the TBS folder, put your endgames tablebases...

Increase the 10 move limit next build! Or tell us how to get unlimited version... or let some of us test it at least

it takes 2 sometimes 3 sec to move...too long

Works fine - and 20 move limit is a nice start

20 moves is enough to win a weak player :p
