Eg. Say I'm black, before my opponent makes the move, I press B then after they move I press 1? Or I press both before or after their move? With playing as white I assume I just press W when I see the chessboard. But even as white, I don't make a move.
My resolution is quite low. 1024x768 (old monitor) under windows Vista 32bit.

Yes I use the numpad 1, but almost instantly get the error message. After I press escape and clear the error everything resets and I just load the engine again, then the readyok displays, rinse and repeat..

I think the only other reason for board error coming up would be the configuration in chesscube.com you are sure you have the color set as ff0000 cus there are other reds? and you made sure that you press save..
