Well the truth is that this program comes with a s_erial number..... maybe you can install it in two computers, Deep Aquarium setup.exe is not that big....if I remember correctly is about 40 MB.
And that's all you need.....the extra gigabytes are just databases, trees, maybe some books and god knows what else.
To run the Rybka engines is not big deal since Val has declined to put some sort of copy protection on them. But a s_erial number is indeed required to run both the GUIs from CONVEKTA and the one from CHESSBASE.
I coudnt care less about most of those 4 GB. Its basically garbage and not to mention that they are downloadable by link.
The big issue here is the s_erial number to run Deep Aquarium. There are three options:
- Buy the damn program
- Have a friend to let you use his s_erial number
- Wait until it gets hacked.
Those waiting for someone to put a link, if they dont give you a valid s_erial number you are just wasting your time.
I am not saying that I am unbeatable at 1/0 because I am not, and I am not saying I am best because I am not. Rybka 3 defently narowed the GAP between hardware, now I am having a hard time beating others and they are having an easier time beating me. But the key remains in the book, the settings and not as much as before in your hardware.
Those that think that by getting the whole 4GB program are going to play faster and stronger are completly wrong. Wake of from your dream and work on your book instead, your settings, tweaking your computer performance, lots of testing, etc.
Its that simple.
Unless someone comes with real prove that Rybka 3 plays better with Aquarium, I am not changing my statement.
Cheers,
Using engines to cheat:
- It is not ethical,
- It is useless, nothing is gained (how can one be proud of a score earn with dishonesty?)
- You will be baned, sooner or later,
- It gives us (the true chess engine players) a bad reputation.
