So...what do you think of this game:

Image

or this one:

Image

Please observe that the first game averages 5.28 moves per second but it only has 259 moves, the second game averages 5 moves per second but it has 285 moves, while Aaron's game averages 3.55 moves per second.

So, what are we looking for here? The best average or the most moves in a 1/0 game.

For most moves in a 1/0 game the one with 285 moves is wining so far. For the best average, none of this games is the winer. You need to go back to and old post (http://autochess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=66&st=0&sk=t&sd=d&start=30) and look at a game with 106 moves in 19 seconds, averaging 5.56 moves per second.

Or just take a look of that old picture (10/21/07) here:

very good 1/0 game which ended in a mate. some 1/0 games has a lot of moves but its more of pieces going into places and ended in a draw or win by time. no offense. cheers.

Non offense taken....why should I ? Just a matter a playing more games until we get a checkmate. Does it have to be whites or blacks checkmating? At night, in the morning or don't matter?

What are we trying to accomplish here? A checkmate or a speed record? I see checkmates every fricking day. How many times you see 285 moves in less than a minute? I will have to play a little weak or ask zozur to play a little weak so the game ends in checkmate. But then the game will end at 50 to 80 moves. So....let's see if we cant get one that pleases you.

Good games... New record that 285 moves. I could watch some games today and got this one with 268 moves ended in draw. But like mate said sooner or later a mate will come out hehehe... All these 200+ moves just make me think when I imagined 140+ moves were impossible to anyone LOL

OK, finally zozur and I were able to make a checkmate in a 297 moves, but we coudnt acomplish this in a 1/0 game cause in most of the games one of the players was runing out of time. So we switch to 2/0 and were able to finish the game in 63 seconds.

Next time Yahoo switches servers we are going to try again and besides with less lag will be able to accomplishe this under 1 minute.

Meanwhile here is the picture:
