Hello,
Thanks for the program first of all, I appreciate your works. I'd like to request, a public or private edition, YaY Ultimate to NOT display the message "Using YaY 2.1.2 Ultimate Edition" when queried in the lobby or when the id is booted from the table. Here are my reasons:
1. I Do NOT use programs to play for me, I use YaY + Winboard merely for the interface's flexibility. ( I really can't grab the pieces on Yahoo's table fast enough in a 2/0 game).
2. Consequently, People who querie /YaY in the lobby will simply boot me or give me a hard time, calling me a program.

Alternatively, if possible, have YaY check for an engine being connected, and if so, enable shout, if not, disable.

I understand the arguments about cheating and programming anonymously, but this situation is different. I simply do not ever use any program to play for me.
Please consider the above, it would really help us out.

This is a very interested approach and I hate myself for not thinking about it earlier.

We (The YaY Team) have decided to release a new version. Nothing new fancy, just few little things here and there and now defently your excellent suggestion. Your idea will be implemented only if we found in a reasonable amount of time how to do it, but even if is not implemented, I have good news for you and the rest of YaY users. We have decided to make the next release abailable in two formats: .exe and .pl . So, if you do not like the way things are being handle by the exe then you can use you own modified .pl version.

Due to personal reasons, we wont start working in the new version soon, plus give a week to implement changes and then two weeks of testing. So I'll say the new version will be ready in 6-8 weeks.

Yeah! Nice idea the pl file comes back to us again hehehe...I also request new YaY brings the winboard.exe like YaY 2.1.1. You know! Have all together is a good thing! Thx

Sure! If Im not wrong YaY 2.1.1 folder we had yay, poly, winboard. But YaY 2.1.2 we had yay, poly, no winboard anymore. I request new YaY brings winboard again, the .exe file like b4 thx
